Russia’s Polyus Gold raises gold output 9% in January–March
MOSCOW, Apr 14 (PRIME) -- Russia’s leading gold producer Polyus Gold increased its production by 9% on the year to 384,000 ounces in January–March, the company said in a statement Thursday.
Gold sales rose 3% to 400,000 ounces, while sales revenue increased 2% to U.S. $505 million, under preliminary data.
Polyus Gold confirms plans to raise its gold output to 1.76–1.8 million ounces in 2016, the company said in a statement citing its CEO Pavel Grachyov.
